The "Palace"

For school we have required lectures that we have to attend. Today's special class was on the Pubblico building in the Campo. It was a little long running at almost three hours of Senese history and its mythical beginnings. We listened to the teacher talk and toured the Pubblico also known as the Palace. I was quite proud that I knew Garibaldi was the Italian hero during the Italian unification thanks to my previous nights religion reading. Afterwards we were taken to the most amazing view of the valley behind Siena. It was one of those moments where you tell yourself, "Wow, I live here". Siena is such a beautiful city and I could not have asked for a better place to live.
