Airports

My flights went really well. I had a long layover in Cincinnati but I utilized the last hours of my cell phone before having to turn it off for three months. I was also limited to a very small wing of the airport but made a couple rounds in walking to tire myself for the 9 hour sitting. The flight to Rome I thought would be a struggle with the lack of movable headrests but I honestly slept much more than initially intended. Most of the passengers were Italians so it was a nice little taste of what my life would be like. The movie of choice was the new Narnia except the sound was lame so..it was a no go. After making my way to the never ending baggage claim I retrieved my bags and headed to the intended group meeting point. I braced myself for a long afternoon just sitting in the airport but I kept occupied. I am glad to have my computer! I had only waited maybe two hours before Peter rounded some more girls in the program. He decided to send four of us girls in a taxi to the hotel to prevent any further waiting in the airport. Wow we were so ecstatic about that!!!
